This is a huge Madrone or Arbutus wood bowl.  It measurer approx 12.75 to 14.75" across and 6.5" deep.  The size varies slightly as Madrone wood changes shape as it dries, creating wonderfully organic pieces.  Madrone is a hard wood that comes in gorgeous colors ranging from almost white to a wonderful blush pink.  Madrone is one of my favorite woods to turn.  This is part of a large chunk of Madrone rescued in the PNW.
