This pretty 7x4" Madrone wood bowl has been hand-turned and then carved and painted in acrylics in a design titled "Lavender Field".  Madrone or Arbutus is exciting wood to work with, it warps as it dries creating wonderfully organic shapes which simply add to the interest and unique qualities of the piece. This one-of-a-kind vessel, has been created by hand by Bridged from wood rescued in the Pacific Northwest.
